Not all rubber boots are necessarily made of rubber, but increasingly made of special plastic. Depending on the area of use, rubber boots are available in different heights and with or without inner lining.
Classification of the rubber boots category
Wellington boots were once used to protect the feet from rain. By their definition, the treads, which are made of simple plastic, were rather plain. Usually in blue, green or yellow with a reflective strip. First of all, it was important that the rubber boots served their purpose and that they were available in a lined version for the winter.
A fashion accessory in today’s world
Wellington of today has nothing in common with this simplicity. Because it no longer only serves to guarantee dry feet in rainy weather, but also as a fashion accessory. Wellies are now available in a variety of colors, shapes and patterns. Classic boots are based on the old shape of the boot, which extends either to the mid-calf or, in the case of higher specimens, to the knee. The beautiful rubber shoes are much more elaborate today.

They are lavishly painted, with little flowers or the trendy skull print. The new design of the rubber boot alone gives it an enormous visual rating. Wellies that are shaped like a pump are even fancier because they are even more unusual. They protect the feet from water without having to walk around like a farmer. Because such a rain pump has style and, above all, is not worn by every woman.
It should be noted, however, that the very cheap rubber boots in particular can be heavily loaded with plasticizers. That is why it pays to spend a few euros more, especially for children’s rubber boots.
