If there was a pair of shoes every child had in their closet in the 90s, then there were colorful rubber shoes for a beach vacation. This remnant of the old days is actually celebrating a revival now.
I confess: I even count myself among the owners of the embarrassing 90-year-old steps. When I was on vacation at the lake with my primary school-age family and saw what kind of creepy fish moved people out of the water, I wanted some of them not to jump into the cool water without rubber shoes. Surprise: What I was disgusted with for just one summer is now apparently top again in the fashion world.

Fashion bloggers, fashionistas and designers are equally fascinated by the rubber shoes.Urban Outfitters, forever 21, or even Michael Kors, have all of the rubber shoes back in their range.
If these rubber shoes are beautiful, everyone should decide for themselves. But if some people can’t remember: If you suffered at least one blister on your toe as a child while wearing rubber shoes, you can find at least a million pebbles in the shoe that are pressed into the flesh with every step you take. Is it really worth it?
