The wide hem prevents the penetration of dirt and especially into the shoes. The fashion of the 60s and 70s in particular was characterized by the funky, happy hippi style.
At this time, the popularity of the trousers on display reached its absolute peak. Particularly chic models were those with a pleated fold on the lower leg, which was often decorated with a small chain.
While the flared trousers were a bit tight on the thigh, the blow from the fire sprang apart almost fiery. With the cool 80s the torches disappeared from the street scene, only with the emerging techno and rave scene in the 90s it returned again. Just like decades ago, it now came in a cool waist, bright colors and shiny lurex fabrics – as if it were created to exude joie de vivre, trend awareness, fashion sense and a bit of madness.
